- 1946 Kenny Larkin founds firm in Kansas City.
- 1947 First Engineer, Bob Van Wye is hired.
- 1955 Larkin converts sole proprietorship to partnership.
- 1973 Firm moved to offices at 9233 Ward Parkway.
- 1983 Larkin incorporates.
- Larkin designs first wholesale water district in Kansas.
- 1984 Larkin successfully completes the first reverse-osmosis
water treatment plant in the Midwest.
- 1986 Larkin successfully completes one of the first sequencing
batch reactors (SBR) in the Midwest.
- 1989 Larkin's Kansas City office reaches 65 employees strong.
- 1992 M. Clark Thompson elected President.
- 1993 Springfield, Missouri office opened.
- 1996 Larkin enters Albuquerque, New Mexico market.
Total staff exceeds 100 for the first time.
- 1997 Larkin adopts strategic plan that forecasts revenue
of $20 million in 2005.
- 1998 Revenues exceed $10 million for first time.
- 2000 Larkin adopts new corporate name and identity.
- 2002 Larkin's Kansas City office moves to new location.
